This policy covers usaautobodyinc.com, the website of USA Autobody & Painting Inc., 1655 Jerrold Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94124. It explains what the site collects and what happens to it.
What this website collects
There are two ways information reaches us.
1. The estimate request form
When you submit the form on the contact page, we receive:
- Your name and phone number, and your email address if you give one
- Your vehicle’s year, make and model
- Your description of the damage
- Your claim number and whether the car is drivable, if you provide them
- Any photos or documents you attach
- The IP address the request came from, and the date and time
The IP address is recorded only to identify and block automated spam. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not shared.
Uploaded files are checked by type and stored on our web server under generated filenames, in a folder where nothing can be executed. They are removed once they are no longer needed.
2. Standard web server logs
Like every website, this one runs on a web server that keeps access logs — IP address, page requested, date and time, browser user-agent. They are generated and retained by our hosting provider as part of running and securing the server. We do not use them for marketing.
Cookies, analytics and third parties
This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording and no heat mapping. That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner.
Two third parties are involved, both disclosed here:
- Google Fonts. The site’s two typefaces load from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address and standard browser details for that request. Google states that Google Fonts requests do not set cookies and are not used for advertising profiles.
- Google Maps. The home and contact pages embed a Google map. That embed is served by Google, so on those two pages Google receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. No other page on this site loads a map.
Why we use your information

- To communicate with your insurance company about your claim, where you have asked us to
- To keep a record of the enquiry as part of our business records
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to a marketing list because you asked for an estimate.
Who sees it
- Our staff, to respond to you and carry out the work.
- Your insurance company, where you have asked us to handle a claim — only what is relevant to it.
- Our hosting and email providers, as an unavoidable part of delivering a form submission and an email to us.
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose it to.
How long we keep it
Requests that lead to a repair are kept with the job records for as long as our business and tax obligations require. Requests that do not lead to a repair are kept for a reasonable period in case you come back to us, then deleted.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so what you submit is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and email in particular is not a confidential medium — please do not send anything highly sensitive through this form.
Your rights in California
California residents have the right to know what personal information a business has collected about them, the right to request its deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first, which usually means confirming details of the enquiry or repair you are asking about.
Children
This website is intended for adults arranging vehicle repairs. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
